Seminar on Construction of International Teaching Resources Libraries for Vocational Education Applied Information Security Technology Professional Cluster was Held in Changzhou

On May 19, Seminar onConstructionof International Teaching Resources Libraries for Vocational Education Applied Information Security Technology Professional Cluster was successfully held in Changzhou, Jiangsu.Khan Muhammad Wazir, Counsellor of Technical Affairs, Embassy of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in China, Mansoor Qaiser, Director of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan, Wang Peng, General Manager of ITMC Technology Co., Ltd. , Xu Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Changzhou College of Information Technology (CCIT), Tao Dawei, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of CCIT, and other officials attended the meeting. Nearly 20 colleges were attracted to participate in this resources libraries project.

The meeting aimed to implement the “Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Construction of Modern Vocational Education System” issued by General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and General Office of the State Council, and in accordance with the requirements of the “Notice on Accelerating the Promotion of Major Tasks for the Reform of the Construction of the Modern Vocational Education System”issued bythe General Office of the Ministry of Education, build vocational education standards, resources, online courses, and training equipment with high international influence, and create an international high-level professional teaching resources libraries. Through the International Teaching Resources LibrariesConstructionProject for Vocational Education Applied Information Security Technology Professional Cluster, it aims to help Pakistan introduce Chinese vocational education resources, leverage the advantages and characteristics of Chinese vocational education, and assist Pakistan in improving its vocational education standards and system.

In her speech, Xu Jianjun stated that CCIT attaches great importance to the international development of vocational education and actively expands international cooperation platforms. Based on the construction of advantageous majors, it carries out international cooperation and exchange activities. She noted that theInternational Teaching Resources LibrariesConstructionProjectfor Vocational Education Applied Information Security Technology Professional Cluster is of great significance for improving the quality of vocational education and cultivating international professional talents. She hoped that this meeting would build a bridge for exchange and cooperation between domestic and foreign institutions and jointly promote the international development of this specialty to cultivate more high-skilled talents for the construction of China and Pakistan.

Khan Muhammad Wazir, Counsellor of Technical Affairs, Embassy of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in China, stated that the construction of international teaching resources marks an important step forward in China-Pakistan cooperation. Through joint curriculum development, technology sharing, and cooperative training, it will further deepen the partnership between Pakistani institutions, enterprises, and their Chinese counterparts. Empowering Pakistani youth to learn through digital technology will enhance their employability and promote Pakistan’s economic development.

Mansoor Qaiser, Director of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan, delivered a video speech expressing his high attention to this meeting and expectations for the cooperation project. He pointed out that Pakistan has broad development space and talent demand in the field of information security technology and hoped to introduce advanced teaching concepts and resources through cooperation with China to improve the education level of related majors in Pakistan and cultivate more professional talents adapted to market needs.

The meeting officially launched theInternational Teaching Resources LibrariesConstructionProject forVocational Education Applied Information Security Technology Professional Clusterand issued certificates to project member units.

Tao Dawei delivered a special lecture titled “CCIT’s Practice of Empowering Vocational Education Going Global with Digital Technology Based on Three Integrations, Two Carriers and Four Innovations”at the meeting. Combining digital empowerment, he shared the college’s construction ideas and practical experience in internationalization.

Wang Peng, General Manager of ITMC Technology Co., Ltd., provided a detailed introduction to theInternational Teaching Resources LibrariesConstructionProject forVocational Education Applied Information Security Technology Professional Cluster. He comprehensively interpreted the project from aspects such as background, objectives, implementation steps, and expected results, emphasizing the key role of digital technology in teaching resource construction and the necessity of improving professional teaching standards through international cooperation.

Chen Xiaoyan, Deputy Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering at Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology, delivered an exchange speech titled“Construction and Application of the Teaching Resources Libraries for Industrial Robot Technology Major under the New Double High Plan Background”.

At the meeting, under the witness of Counsellor Khan Muhammad Wazir, CCIT and the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan,conducted an online signing ceremony for theInternational Teaching Resources LibrariesConstructionProject forVocational Education Applied Information Security Technology Professional Cluster and International Cooperation.

In the afternoon session, in-depth discussions were held on the development of information security technology application professional standards and courses in Pakistan. Yang Cheng, Dean of the School of Cyberspace Security and leader ofInternational Teaching Resources LibrariesConstructionProject forVocational Education Applied Information Security Technology Professional Cluster, explained the construction status and work requirements. Li Xiaochen, Researcher from ITMC Technology Co., Ltd., shared the preliminary research results of relevant standards and had a full exchange and discussion with participating representatives on issues such as the feasibility of standards, curriculum system construction, and teaching content design. Experts at the meeting put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions based on their professional backgrounds and practical experience, providing an important reference for improving professional standards and curriculum development.

On the day of the meeting, Counsellor Khan Muhammad Wazir visited Changzhou Science and Education Town and CCIT. He stated that the collaborative innovation model of industry - university - research cooperation in the Changzhou Science and Education Town has created a public platform for open sharing of education, technology, and society, providing new ideas for the development of vocational education in Pakistan. He looked forward to carrying out more exchanges and cooperation in various fields with CCIT and other institutions in the Science and Education Town in the future.

This meeting successfully launched the International Teaching Resources LibrariesConstructionProject for Vocational Education Applied Information Security Technology Professional Cluster, promoted exchanges and cooperation between domestic and foreign institutions and enterprises, and provided new ideas and methods for the international development of this professional field.
