From April 26 to April 30, a 7-member Thai educational delegation from Udon Thani Vocational College, Detudom Technical College,Nakhon Ubon Ratchathani Technical College, and Chonburi Technical College visited Changzhou College of Information Technology (CCIT) for a 5-day exchange program. Tao Dawei, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of CCIT, along with relevant personnel from functional departments and second-level colleges, participated in the related activities.
At the opening ceremony, Tao Dawei expressed expectations for the newly enrolled Thai international students (Class of 2024) majoring in Software Technology and E-commerce. He hoped that the students would have the courage to explore and innovate, continuously advance on the path of learning, and pursue excellence. Subsequently, representatives of teachers and students delivered special speeches respectively.
During the project talks, Wang Hongkai extended a warm welcome to the Thai educational delegation and hoped that CCIT could work with Thai institutions to actively explore talent training models that meet the needs of the new era and promote high-quality higher vocational education exchanges.Suangsuda Sandee,representative of Thai teachers, stated that CCIT has provided valuable learning opportunities for Thai international students and expressed her hope for the long-term cooperation between Chinese and Thai institutions.
At the special seminar, Guan Wenqiang, head of the Software Technology major, delivered a special report. He introduced the practices of CCIT in cultivating Thai international students majoring in Software Technology from the aspects of professional foundation, resource construction, curriculum setup, and teaching methods for Thai international students. Subsequently, professional teachers from both sides carried out discussions and exchanges, focusing on topics such as the cultivation of international students in E-commerce, Software Technology, Modern Logistics Management, and other majors.
In addition, during the visit of the Thai educational delegation, a series of activities were also carried out, including visits to relevant experimental training centers, the college history museum, and in-depth visits to transnational enterprises with cooperative partnerships.
In recent years, CCIT has attached great importance to international exchange and cooperation, actively explored exchanges and cooperation with countries along the“Belt and Road”, continuously created talent training models that adapt to the needs of the new era, and gradually formed the CCIT brandof vocational education“goingglobal”. The visit of this delegation is not only a precious opportunity for China-Thailand exchanges but also of special significance for continuously promoting international cooperation in vocational education and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand.
