To deepen international education exchanges and cooperation and promote the innovative development of e-commerce professional teaching, the e-commerce major of the School of Digital Economy successfully held an online classroom observation activity for China-Thailand joint teaching and research on May 19. This activity built a bridge for educational communication between China and Thailand, bringing new vitality to the international teaching of the e-commerce major in CCIT.

During the class, Teacher Huan Yuxi from the School of Digital Economy acted as a“cloud navigator”, leading 5 Thai international students into the palace of knowledge of“e-commerce customer service and management”. With rich teaching experience and vivid case analysis, she transformed obscure theoretical knowledge into easy-to-understand practical guidelines. Encouraged by TeacherHuan, the international students shed their initial newcomers’shyness and became professional“negotiation experts”, carrying out simulated negotiation reports around actual e-commerce scenarios. They either argued persuasively in fluent Chinese based on reasoning or interpreted strategies with vivid body language. Sparks of thinking burst forth in repeated exchanges of viewpoints, demonstrating their profound understanding and flexible application of professional knowledge.

At the same time, 8 teachers from the Udon Thani Vocanical College observed the entire process online via Tencent Meeting. On both ends of the screen, their eyes closely followed the teaching process, frequently nodding in approval at wonderful moments and carefully recording key points in important links. After class, both sides had in-depth discussions on curriculum design, teaching methods, cross-cultural teaching strategies, and other contents. Thai teachers spoke highly of TeacherHuan Yuxi’snovel teaching design and the outstanding classroom performance of the international students.

The successful holding of this China-Thailand joint teaching and research online classroom observation activity not only strengthened exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Thai institutions in the field of e-commerce but also laid a solid foundation for the international development of the e-commerce major in the School of Digital Economy. In the future, the School of Digital Economy will continue to deepen international cooperation, carry out more diverse joint teaching and research activities, cultivate more e-commerce professionals with international vision and innovative capabilities, and assist in the development of the digital economy industry.
