On April 7, the opening ceremony for the Thai international students (Class of 2023) was grandly held at our college. Miss Chuenjit Oktun and Mr. Zhang Qifu, Educators of the Office of Vocational Education Commissionof Thailand’s Ministry of Education, teacher representatives from Udon Thani Vocational College and Detudom Technical College in Thailand, Xu Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of our college, Tao Dawei, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President, leaders from relevant functional departments and second-level colleges attended the ceremony.
President Xu Jianjun warmly welcomed and sincerely thanked Educators of the Office of Vocational Education Commission, the teacher team, and Thai international students. He emphasized the importance of international vision and cross-cultural communication skills in the context of globalization and expressed expectations and confidence in China - Thailand educational cooperation.
Zhang Qifu, Educator of the Office of Vocational Education Commissionof Thailand’s Ministry of Education, expressed expectations for the achievements of China - Thailand educational cooperation and hoped that the students would contribute to the relations between the two countries.
Teacher Zhu Sheng, on behalf of all faculty, welcomed the new students, encouraging them to actively participate in college activities, showcase their talents, cherish the learning opportunity, and lay a solid foundation for their future careers.
Li Cha, the Thai international student representative, expressed gratitude to the college, promising to study hard, actively communicate, make full use of the college’s resources, and contribute to China - Thailand cultural exchanges.
Taking this opening ceremony as an opportunity, our college will provide high-quality educational resources, cultivate internationally competitive talents, and contribute to the friendship and cooperation between China and Thailand.
