On September 19, the 2022 Automotive Intelligent Technology major ofChina - Thailand“Zheng He College”officially opened at our school. Tao Dawei, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of our school, andPornpichitPhotiwat,Educator of the Office of Vocational Education Commissionof Thailand’s Ministry of Education, attended the inauguration ceremony and delivered speeches. Thai teachers and students from Chonburi Technical College and Detudom Technical College, as well as teachers from relevantsecond-levelcolleges of our school, participated in the ceremony.

On behalf of the school, Tao Dawei extended a warm welcome to the Thai teachers and students, encouraging them with the school motto“Virtue and Diligence”. He placed high hopes on the academic and personal development of“Zheng He College”students, hoping they would study deeply, become outstanding CCIT members, serve as friendly envoys for Sino-Thai cultural exchanges, and convey“China’s voice”to the world.

PornpichitPhotiwatexpressed gratitude for the school’s warm reception, looked forward to the Thaiinternationalstudents’study journey in China, and hoped to continue deepening cooperation with our school to promote the further development of Sino-Thai vocational education.

Wang Jili, the international student representative, shared his beautiful impressions of China and Changzhou, vowing to live up to the teachers’expectations, study hard, and strive to contribute to Sino-Thai friendship and common development.

TheChina - Thailand“Zheng He College”project is a Sino-Thai joint program offering fully English-taught, dual-certificate degree classes. After three years of study, Thaiinternationalstudents will obtain academic certificates from both Chinese and Thai institutions. The project emphasizes both basic knowledge and professional skills, strengthens the cultivation of international vocational literacy and technical accumulation, integrates professional, vocational, and craftsmanship spirits into the entire talent training process, and aims to cultivate professional and skilled talents for promoting Sino-Thai friendship and common development.
