On October 26, as entrusted by the Ministry of Education, the China Education Association for International Exchange announced the results of the“First National Quality Certification for Higher Vocational Education for International Students in China”, and our school passed the certification and was awarded a certificate valid for 6 years.
This“National Quality Certification for Higher Vocational Education for International Students in China”is a qualification evaluation for international student education quality in Chinese colleges and universities, commissioned by the Ministry of Education and conducted by the China Education Association for International Exchange. It is currently an important indicator for managing and inspecting the effectiveness of international student education in universities.
Our school was one of the first 8 institutions participating in this certification project. Since its launch, we have attached great importance to it, made careful arrangements, established leading, self-evaluation, and working groups. All departments collaborated closely, advanced precisely, summarized experiences, and condensed achievements, comprehensively reviewing all aspects of our international student education. We have built a number of English professional standards and curriculum resources with distinct characteristics, cultivated a group of high-quality international talents who know Chinese, possess technical skills, and understand Chinese culture, and established a vocational education brand for countries along the Belt and Road.
Successfully passing the certification marks an important milestone in our international student education. Taking this as an opportunity, we will strive to build a support system for international student education featuring balanced educational resources, sound management mechanisms, rich cultural atmosphere, and comprehensive and precise services, providing endogenous power for comprehensively strengthening the quality of international student education.
