On the afternoon of May 26, Tao Dawei, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of our school, led a team to Changzhou BYD Automobile Co., Ltd. for signing a cooperation agreement on overseas projects and holding a symposium.

Tao Dawei stated that our school actively explores international education paths. Based on the practice of cultivating technical and skilled talents in collaboration with South Africa, we are now trying to establish in-depth cooperation with Thai institutions for talent training. The vision of our international education is to cultivate more international students from different countries and provide management and technical talents for enterprises.

Ma Xianlin, General Manager of BYD Thailand Base, noted that integrating into the local community and achieving product localization are thekey to the success of the enterprise’s “going global” strategy. As BYD’s first overseas passenger car production base is located in Thailand, there is a significant demand for local technical and skilled talents.

Both sides exchanged views on order-based training and joint construction of internship and training bases, hoping to achieve mutual benefit through cooperation. The school and enterprise will align with talent and job requirements, further expand cooperation depth and breadth, start with building internship and training bases for international students, seek two-way cooperation and development, provide high-quality technical and skilled talents meeting enterprise needs, and explore more efficient and in-depth international education and talent cultivation paths.
