On January 11, Thai teachers from our school led 26 Thai international students to visit Royal Thai Consulate General in Shanghai.

The consulate-general warmly received the delegation. Ms. Lada Phumas, who is the Consul-General of Royal Thai Consulate General in Shanghai, introduced the history and development of the consulate-general, the overview of the Yangtze River Delta cities, and the region’s development potential and advantages. She encouraged the students to contribute to promoting friendly cooperation between Thailand and China. Consulate staff engaged in extensive exchanges with the students, and thoughtfully prepared professional materials to provide necessary guidance for their study and life in China, introduced and led them to experience the consular services, and presented“care packages”containing daily necessities and protective supplies.

Huang Yana, the international student representative, expressed gratitude to Consul-General Lada Phumas and the consulate staff for their warm reception. As the New Year had just passed and the Chinese Spring Festival was approaching, Consul-General Lada Phumas conveyed her blessings, hoping the students would be happy, succeed in their studies, stay healthy, and become pillars of development for their families and even their country.

In addition, the Consul-General personally led the 26 Thai international students in presenting flowers toThailand’s Princess Bajrakitiyabha, praying for her early recovery and good health. (Text and photosbyLiu Rui;Reviewed byZhou Ping, Wu Hao, Zhang Yu)
