School of Digital Economy Held Online Exchange Meeting with Udon Thani Vocational College and Detudom Technical College

On the afternoon of October 24, the School of Digital Economy held an online teaching exchange meeting with Udon Thani Vocational College and Detudom Technical College via an online platform in Room 206 of the Administrative Building. Attendees included Du Junshu, Deputy Dean of School of Digital Economy, Luo Dawei, Head of the Department of Modern Logistics Management ; and faculty representatives Zhang Hongqin, Han Pingping, and Wu Zhaohui. The meeting was chaired by Li Ying from the School of Overseas Education.

At the meeting, teachers from the School of Digital Economy spoke highly of the Thai international students currently studying at the college. They noted that Thai international students not only have a proactive learning attitudes and enthusiastic participation in classes but also demonstrate strong teamwork awareness, actively engaging in classroom discussions and showing high learning enthusiasm and curiosity. When facing learning difficulties, students help each other to solve problems together, creating a positive learning atmosphere.

While affirming the students’ achievements, our college’s teachers also put forward suggestions based on the international students’ study situation. They recommended that Thai partner institutions add more Chinese language courses and major-related preparatory courses for students before they come to China, to help them better adapt to the new academic environment and improve learning efficiency. Thai institutions responded positively, stating that they will further add language and major-related preparatory courses in the next phase to better meet the learning needs of international students.

In addition, Thai colleges expressed a strong desire to strengthen cooperation with our college. They hope the two sides can enhance communication and collaboration in curriculum resource sharing, software application, and other areas to make courses more coherent and practical. To this end, both sides discussed the next phase of cooperation plans, including our college offering specialized lectures and online observation courses for Thai colleges to further strengthen connectivity and friendly cooperative relations.

Throughout the meeting, representatives from both sides spoke actively in a relaxed and warm atmosphere. This exchange not only strengthened the ties and communication between the schools but also served as a good bridge for the academic development of international students. Both sides stated that they will continue to maintain close contact and jointly promote the in-depth development of international education cooperation projects.
