On the morning of March 15, our college held the opening ceremony of the program for Thai students of software technology specialty enrolled in 2021. Miss Chuenjit Oktun, Educator of The Office of Vocational Education Commission, Mr. Samai Srihabutree, Vice Director of Udontani Vocanical College, Mr. Amnuay Hermkhunthod, Vice Director of Chunburi Technical College, and other leaders and students from Thai colleges, 18 new students from Thailand, Tao Dawei, member of the Party Committee and Vice-principal, as well as department heads of relevant functional departments and secondary colleges from our school, attended the ceremony via video link.
In his speech, Tao Dawei hoped that every student would shine in CCIT through his or her own efforts. He welcomed students to come to CCIT at an early date to experience the unique charm of China. Then Mr. Samai Srihabutree andMr.AmnuayHermkhunthod delivered speeches and introduced the institutions in Thailand, respectively. They expressed gratitude to the teachers of our school for their meticulous care and guidance for Thai students and hoped for deepened cooperation with our school.“When I knew that I could study in China, I felt like I was living a dream, it was amazing,”Huang Yana said, the representative of Thai students.
China and Thailand have joined hands to design a talent training program and have integrated Chinese learning, professional courses taught in English, and “intangible cultural heritage” courses with local features into the program according to the needs for talents in Thailand. International academic students from Thailand who participated in the cooperation program will obtain academic diplomas from both Chinese and Thai colleges at the same time after completing three-year of study.
