The Fourth International Cultural Exchange Festival under the theme of "One World One CCIT” was held in front of the first canteen square in Changzhou College of Information Technology on November 5th. Vice President Sui Bixia attended the opening ceremony of the cultural festival and delivered a speech. More than 50 international students from 14 countries including South Africa, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Kazakhstan participated in the event. More than 70 students who were overseas due to the epidemic participated in the event via video link. "One World One CCIT" has been an international cultural brand carefully created by our school in recent years. It is an annual cultural event of our school with the vision of diversity and inclusiveness. It has built a platform for international students from all over the world to showcase their talent and communicate with each other, and is also an important window for CCIT to foster an international image.

The opening of the cultural festival began with the lively dance of South African students, creating an enthusiastic, cheerful and infectious atmosphere. Then a French song put everyone in the romantic mood. Bangladesh and Kazakhstan students brought joy and laughter with the cross-talk "Riddles". The song of "Extremely Evil City" performed by a Chinese student band pushed the cultural festival to the climax. A Congolese student stunned the audience with a Chinese song named "Before it is too late". Bangladeshi students' chorus brought everyone exotic sweetness. At last, the cultural festival concluded successfully amidst the collective chorus by the college choir.

The cultural festival also included a multicultural display area. A variety of props and exquisite and lovely decorations were available at the site for Chinese and foreign students to communicate with each other and take photos together. International students and Chinese students rushed to take photos after the program had drawn to its close. Several students in traditional Chinese costume of the Han Dynasty attracted many international students to communicate with each other and take photos together.

Organized by the School of Overseas Education, the International Cultural Exchange Festival has provided a big stage for Chinese and foreign students to display their artistic talent and the opportunity to appreciate the colorful cultural and artistic charm from all over the world. It has strengthened the cultural exchanges between Chinese and foreign youth and enhanced the international atmosphere within the campus. (Text/ Lu Tingting)
