With the mission of "creating an intelligent environment, pursuing the development of teachers and students, and satisfying the needs of society", Electronic Engineering School pursues the motto of "thinking clearly, studying diligently, and making progress with perseverance", advocates the culture of "unity, working hard, and being practical and efficient", and adheres to the leading values of "dedication, innovation, honesty, and friendliness". Aiming at producing high-quality and highly skilled application-oriented talent in the field of electronic engineering technology, the school has an enrollment of over 2400 students majoring in 7 specialties, including electronic information engineering technology, computer application technology and Internet of Things technology.
The college has a reasonable tier of teaching staff consisting of 99 people, including 5 full professors and 32 associate professors. 88% of the faculty are "double-qualified" teachers, and more than 78% of them have got a master’s or doctor’s degree.
The school has attained outstanding achievements in specialty construction. The two specialties (electronic information engineering technology and computer application technology) are on the state key construction list of national model higher vocational colleges and the construction list of backbone specialties of Jiangsu provincial higher-level vocational education. The specialty of Internet of Things technology is ranked among the construction specialty cluster of national high-level vocational colleges with Chinese characteristics.
Our students have made outstanding achievements in skill competitions, and the number of gold medals and medals won in national skill competitions each year are among the highest in the whole college.
