Intelligent Equipment School has set up 10 teaching and research sections（Electromechanics, Mold Design and Manufacturing, Mechanical Design, CNC Technology, Robotics, Industrial Design, Automation, Intelligent Control System, and Practical Training，etc.）, 1 electromechanical technology research institute and 2 municipal key laboratories. The school has established a modern manufacturing technology training base, an electromechanical application technology training base, a CAD/CAM training base, a national three-dimensional CAD training base and a number of industry skill appraisal centers.
The specialties in the school are centered around the specialty cluster of intelligent manufacturing technologies. The 9 specialties are "electrical automation technology", "automation (4+0)", "mechatronics technology", "industrial robot technology", "mold design and manufacturing", "CNC technology", "mechanical design and manufacturing", "intelligent control technology" and "Sino-Korean electrical automation technology". Now the school has an enrollment of over 2,900 students.
