School of Overseas Education (SOE)of Changzhou College of Information Technology was established in 2015. It joins hands with International Affairs Office and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office to take charge of the enrollment, daily management, Chinese language and Chinese Culture teaching and other affairs. SOEactively responds to the national Belt and Road Initiative, adheres to the path of internationalization of management, professionalization of teams, and high-quality services, and vigorously develops education for international students.

In recent years, SOE has cultivated more than 700 international students with academic qualifications from more than 24 countries including South Korea, Thailand, South Africa, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Laos, etc., covering 25 specialties of the school. At the same time, SOE takes the initiative to contact the relevant schools in South Korea, South Africa, Thailand and other countries to explore and develop short-term and medium-term cultural exchange activities and full-time academic education programs for foreign students in China. The school has built a 'Luban Workshop' in South Africa, a ‘New ASEAN Language Center’ in Laos, and has regularly dispatched teachers to overseas to provide technical and language training services. The school has been selected as the 'Study in Jiangsu' target cultivation school, a high-level demonstration construction project of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools in Jiangsu Province, and has been awarded the title of Jiangsu Province’s advanced group of international students’ education and the top 50 national vocational colleges in terms of international influence for many times.
